What is Learning on Demand?

Learning On Demand is subject-specific classes available 24 hours/day, when you want, on demand! There are five major content areas: Parts Management, Service Management, Product Support Marketing, Product Support Selling, and Professional Development. The Learning On Demand classes are a highly effective way to convey specific information in one aspect of your business, as either a refresher course for seasoned employees, part of an individualized employee development program or even an introductory program for newer hires.

What happens before, during and after class registration?

Learning Without Scars has created an Online Education document that will guide you through the entire process from Registering to Purchasing Classes to taking Classes. We offer Certifications, Job Functions, Curriculums and Lectures education to meet your continuing education needs.

How do I pay on Learning Without Scars?

During the purchase process, you will be prompted for your payment method on the Check Out page.  We accept all major credit cards and also Google Pay, Apple Pay and >Link depending on the platform you are accessing the system with.  See the Online Education document for more details.

How are the learning programs constructed?

Each learning program is made up of individual courses. Within each course, there are four components:

• A Reading List
• A pre-test to measure prior knowledge BEFORE taking the class
• The class video itself, with embedded surveys, questions and assignments
• A final test, with a minimum passing grade of 80%, to measure performance
• A survey
• A certificate
• An opportunity to provide comments

Once all components are completed in a course, you will have a certificate available.

With each course, you will see the following 3 parts to the class when you have logged into your learning account.

How does Skills Assessment pricing work?

Our Skills Assessment are job function dependent. Each job function within Parts, Service, Product Support Selling and Product Support Marketing has a specifically designed assessment. Each assessment consists of multiple-choice questions. The assessments will determine the skills and knowledge category for each student/employee. Assessments are limited to 60-minutes to complete.

How does Learning On Demand pricing work?

Our Learning On Demand programs offer the student rich content on specific subjects. These are excellent to fill in gaps for employee development, or as a refresher course for experienced staff. Our library of more than 90 specific Learning On Demand classes is available for selection by individual employees or dealerships. Each class typically takes 2-3 hours to complete.

What is a Team Leader?

Every student enrolled in a class or assessment on the Learning Without Scars platform will have an assigned leader. This will usually be your manager or direct supervisor. Your team leader will be able to see your progress through your assigned programs, and also receive a copy of your Certificate of Completion for your employee file.

How is your learning status tracked?

The Learning Without Scars online learning platform measures your prior knowledge before every course with a pre-test, and assesses your learning after the class with a final test as well. Throughout every stage of your progress, our Director of Marketing receives emailed progress reports in real time.

We also have the option of “gamification,” if learning teams want to compete with others within their own organization. With this option, learners will receive badges that show on their Learning Without Scars learner profile when it is accessed by managers and supervisors. In order to successfully complete a class, you must pass the final test with at least 80%.

How do I get my certificate?

When you have completed your program, your Certificate of Completion will be available on your achievements tab.

Once you have selected the achievements tab, you will see a list of your completed courses.  Simply click the “Download certificate” link next to the name of the course you have completed.

You can download, print, and hang your certificate on your office wall.

Do you offer custom training programs or packages?

Most customers find our standard Assessments and Classes very suitable for their needs. However, we can develop custom training programs or curriculum for your unique needs. Get in touch with us and let’s discuss what you have in mind. Worst case, if we can’t help, we’ll try to point you in the right direction.

How do I order Learning Without Scars merchandise?

We offer shirts and hats with our company logo, Socrates the Owl. If you are interested in purchasing merchandise, please contact Caroline at ca******@******************rs.org for all pertinent information. We recommend using these as prizes for your employees as they finish their programs.
